While TxtCart is compatible with the vast majority of apps on the Shopify App Store, there are a few scenarios that are worth being aware of.
Apps that redirect to third-party checkout pages
Apps that replace the standard Shopify checkout experience (e.g, Funnelish) may interfere with TxtCart. Since TxtCart collects subscriber information directly from the Shopify checkout page, using a third-party checkout solution can prevent TxtCart from capturing subscriber data correctly
Other SMS apps
Any SMS app that sends messages to your customers can potentially interfere with TxtCart, not because it prevents TxtCart from functioning, but because of overlapping messaging and attribution conflicts.
Overlapping Flows
If you have an active abandoned checkout flow in TxtCart and another SMS app also has a flow targeting abandoned checkouts, your customers will receive multiple messages about the same event.
This creates confusion, increases opt-outs, and raises the risk of your number being flagged as spam by carriers. To prevent this, make sure only one app has an active flow of each type at a time.
Inaccurate Attribution
Having multiple SMS apps engaging with the same customers can also lead to inaccurate attribution metrics. If a customer converts after receiving messages from both apps, each app may attempt to claim credit for that sale, since neither is aware the other also engaged with that customer.
This makes it harder to accurately measure TxtCart's influence on your customers' buying journey.
