Understanding "No SMS Coverage" on Your Subscribers Page

Written by Juan

Some of your subscribers may show a No SMS Coverage status in your Subscribers list. This article explains what that means and what to do about it.

What does "No SMS Coverage" mean?

TxtCart sends SMS using a phone number dedicated to each country or region you support (see Supported Countries). A subscriber shows No SMS Coverage when their phone number belongs to a country or region you haven't added a sending number for yet.

These subscribers:

  • Are kept out of your reachable subscriber counts, since no message can currently reach them.

  • Still appear in your Subscribers list, with a No SMS Coverage badge next to their entry.

  • Will start receiving messages normally as soon as you add a sending number for their country or region — no further action is needed on their record.

Finding your No-Coverage subscribers

Your Subscribers page now also shows each subscriber's real country name (not just a handful of regions), so you can see exactly where a subscriber is located.

To see only your No-Coverage subscribers:

  1. Go to Subscribers in your TxtCart dashboard.

  2. Open the filters panel.

  3. Choose the Coverage filter and select No SMS Coverage.

Adding coverage for a country

If you have subscribers without coverage and want to start reaching them, follow the steps in Supported Countries to add a number for their country or region from Account Details > Account Settings > Messaging.
