TxtCart automatically imports any valid SMS subscribers from your Shopify store as soon as you sign up, and then pulls any new SMS subscribers going forward, so in most cases, importing your subscribers from Shopify is not needed.
However, if for some reason you'd still like to import a list, you can follow the instructions below to export your list from Shopify and upload it to your TxtCart app.
Exporting your data from Shopify
Step 1: Within your Shopify Admin, navigate to Customers
Step 2: Click on Drop down Arrow (⏷)
Step 3: Click the empty space under link that says "choose a template" to open the segment builder.
Step 4: A dropdown menu will appear. Scroll through the list and select sms_subscription_status.
Step 5: Click Equals.
Step 6: Select SUBSCRIBED from the options.
Step 7: Click Run query to apply the filter. Your customer list will update to show only SMS-subscribed customers.
Step 8: In the top-right corner, click the Export button.
Step 9: Run the Export Customers, you will receive an email to the email on file. From here, you can save the .csv file Shopify sent and then reach out to our team via live chat and/or email us at support@txtcart.ai requesting a data import from Shopify.
Step 9: Once your list has been exported. Download it to your computer (it should have a .csv extension) and follow this guide to import the list into iyour TxtCart app.
Note: Very large subscriber lists might take a few minutes to be uploaded. After importing a list, wait for a couple of minutes and refresh your browser. If your subscribers haven't been uploaded yet, contact our support team at support@txtcart.ai.
